iCam - Webcam Video Streaming App Reviews

I purchased this app to set up a webcam for my 3D printer. The program was easy to setup and configure. I can monitor my cameras from anywhere there is internet access. Simple to use and full of features, a winning combination.

I can connect at my work wifi because it restricts it. Have to use my cell data.

Simple design and reliable connection. Lets me check in on my pets while away.

Works as promised. I highly recommend this one!

I have several cameras set up- this is by far the most user Friendly and easiest to set up- spend the money on buying the app- no disappointments

Solid cost effective way to turn extra devices into dropcams!

I have been using this app for several years on a 24 hour basis with absolutely no problems. It is a great app and I recommend it highly with no reservations.

The cameras they support are discontinued. It feels like the developer has stopped developing. I like iCam a lot, but it is too limited by the dated cameras it supports. ICam does not work with H.264

This has a lot of potential, but a few flaws. Instructions are cryptic...be prepared to spend some time figuring out the setup if you have multiple devices; you will need the bundle if using all mobile devices. Watch app doesnt recognize cameras...at least mine doesnt, but motion alerts do come through to Watch. Be careful what you name old phones because once the iCam app has them, they dont seem to be able to be changed. I contacted support and have yet to receive a response 24 hours later.

Best app! Easy to set up & use...great for keeping an eye on dogs when I am away from home!!

worth the money

Works perfectly. Great for home security or just keeping tabs on pets.

I upgraded to the pro version but found it less reliable so switched back to the original. However over the last year it seems to have become less and less reliable – even when I pay for the confusing private proxy subscription. Half the time it just shows a frozen picture from the previous day. There needs to be a way to force a refresh or restart of the source app.

I have not used a better web cam app yet than this one

I use this app to check on my dogs while at work. It gives me peace of mind to know that I can look in on them anytime I want. I love the motion detection feature!

iCam is one of the most useful apps in the App Store. I use it when I travel. I use it for security. I use it to listen to my sump pump when I am away, to be sure my basement isnt getting flooded. My one request would be to record audio along with the video. For $5 its the least expensive security system I know of.

Every once in a while it will work correctly, but 99% of the time you can count on it to say "no sources found". It may work fine one minute, then you try to reconnect another time and it doesnt do anything.

Like the ability to detect motion and save stills. ...and turn off and on as desired. Sometimes cant connect when away from home via cell data. Wifi works.

Great way to freely keep an eye on things.
