I am enjoying the new application.

I bought this app to use my iPhone camera as the video source for Zoom on my Windows 10 desktop. There was no instruction for setting this up. I sent in a support request for help but never got a response.

This was good way back when but awhile back iCam Source stopped working on computers & now there are new issues when upgrading iOS to 14.4. It makes 1 notification of movement & then turns Off notifications. If you don’t act on that 1st notification or if you do & don’t turn them back on, you’re done.

Works perfectly first try.

I used to love icam and I am source but haven't used them for a while. Apparently I can no longer save recorded motion activated events automatically on my computer for review at a later time. The only way to do it now is to pay them $4.99 or more each month for a similar feature that once was free. The 'file location' buttons have not even removed, they just don't work any more. Not acceptable to remove features and hold people hostage for cloud services simply because it makes more money. When I originally downloaded the apps that feature was free. Looking for an alternative product now.

Terrible app and it won’t work on your iMac. Buy Epoccam, easy installation within minutes and high quality resolution.

Bought this app to connect iPhone to windows 10. The setup guide is convoluted and the troubleshooting is a joke. Real not happy I used $5 on this. Don’t make the same mistake.

Either won’t stay connected or wont connect at the resolution you want. Their confusing website was made on Windows 95.

There used to be an option to view the camera from a browser so you could use the ipad to look at your iphone video. App is now useless, don’t waste your money.

Do not buy this if u are planning to use it for Skype or webex .

It worked good as a free app, other than sometimes there was too much traffic on the web, so it suggested that I buy a proxy server, so I did. After that it works on my iPhone for less than two minutes. Please, stop charging me $4.99 per month!

Up to four cameras can be watched from afar and shared for viewing. Almost any can can be used too!

The bestest coolest app in the apposphere.

Sometimes sound fades in and out...often, connection closes. Tech support claims it must be our connection to WiFi dropping, but that would drop all our connections, not just icam. Overall, I'd say it works 90% and we greatly enjoy it.

I have been unable to find the program to download to my computer after looking for the last half hour. I promise, I am not technologically challenged. At this point, I am out $4.99, One half hour of my time and still can’t get this to work, because this app needs a program to be on my computer that doesn’t seem to be available.

yesterday over $9 dollars and I still have no data usually add I paid monthly $4.99 so what is wrong please let me know what’s going on to charge me overpaid and I had no service

The fact that it’s free is great. The fact that no public servers are ever available, so you can never use it for free is not. And when you do get one it often is closed prematurely and does not save changes you have made.

I was never able to connect. Don't know if its an issue with the server or something else but it if a support team rep would reach out to help I would greatly appreciate it!!

This app works great for what it's intended for. I've had it for a number of years now and have used it for general monitoring, babysitting, second camera options, it's a great utility. A good example; I use my MacBook cam next to my 3D printer so I can keep an eye on them without having to always be there to physically do so. Setup a unique password, get a DNS name or static IP and launch the service. I've had the laptop on days at a time regardless of printing and the app keeps streaming. It's doubled as a home security cam in a pinch.

This used to be a decent app before they try to create revenue selling proxy data. Don’t buy this app it’s no good now.

I've been using this app since it came out. I'm able to keep an eye on my home cams and a couple I have at my moms hundreds of miles away. I highly recommend it!

I have the 4.99. Version and i love it....video is a little grainy but that could be my cameras.

It is a nice way to connect to web cameras but camera support is limited. Connection to the server over mobile (3G-4G) networks is usually problematic and Requires VPN.

It would be nice if the app supported iPhone X, and an option for portrait mode. I also can’t get my new Amcrest cameras connected, which means I may have to look for alternative options.

Loved this app till they started this proxy BS. Now you have to pay, because the “free” version doesn’t really doesn’t work. Deleted.

New Amendment: 10-31-17 It's still garbage! Worse than before! So I bought this thing years ago. Part of their advertising at that time was that you could view all of your files and they were locally stored and you'd get all updates for free!! Well, here we are, and they've absconded with local storage, as you have to buy cloud space by the month to see your files!!! And the local video viewing NEVER WORKS! And if you buy their data streaming, it STILL eats it up faster than it should: e.g. I bought 5gigs, and it was gone in under 5 seconds. I started to record, and it did so for 5 seconds and then it said I was out of storage, and asked if I'd like to buy more storage!!! Amendment: Within minutes of writing the review below, my camera was disabled on my computer. I have video of it, so, go ahead and try to claim that I'm slandering iCam. I'm taking the computer to a forensics buddy of mine and he's going to find out who did that. We'll know from the time stamps of the post and the act of disabling the camera, my video of the cameras death, and the forensic evidence that it was iCam that hacked my computer. Want some more of that iCam? I'm still recording, so break in again, I can use more money from the coming lawsuit! First, don't let them fool you into thinking that you should contact them first to let them fix YOUR PROBLEM, because they'll first ignore you, then they'll make you feel like there's something wrong with your brand new phone or the speed of your T-1 business internet connection that's preventing it from connecting from iCam Source to iCam. Second, the way you know it's being done on purpose is because the error message that returns is almost ALWAYS that there are no public servers available, "WOULD YOY LIKE TO BUY SOME PRIVATE SERVER TIME". So, you give it a try and it burns through your purchased time in milliseconds", and then they ask you if you'd like to buy more time!!! Third, it's supposed to work on YOUR INTERNAL WIFI NETWORK, but it doesn't, but again, if you contact them, they're going to act like they are doing you a service by helping you with YOUR PROBLEM, as opposed to you being patient with a product you bought in good faith that that product works when you buy it, that future updates will work, and if they don't work with phone updates, that they are working on making it work. Rest assured, they are doing none of that. It's your fault it doesn't work, and if you bend at the knee maybe they'll help you! And lastly, it's obvious from the other reviews that iCam is writing at least some of those over top, glowing, perfect product, never an issue reviews! Just read them and read the dates, and then find the bad reviews and look at those dates! Yea! They correspond to each other. I suspect that there will be a counter review of this review too! I'm writing his on 5-15-16, so, look for one directly after or before. Yes, before, because the log date can be manipulated for developer devices, by extracting the date of the device that's used to make the post. Apple need to stop this type of extortion altogether. They're making the app not work in lieu of a sales pitch to buy time.

Tried connecting my iPhone 8 and HP Envy for security measures so I could use the restroom in the library without having to take everything with me. Wouldn’t set up regardless of exhausting all options and methods. Glad I paid $4 for it 👎🏼

Bought this app for multiple devices to monitor home. Has never worked outside of home. Which is the intention and purpose of the app. Support was no help, they just sent emails with instructions that did not fix any problems. Spent hours trouble shooting, and never got this to work on any device.

This app is way too contrived to charge $7.99. There are apps out there that are free that do the same thing. THEN, to charge a monthly fee for the app to be useful when you're away, is just insult to injury. It's like hiring a plummer that comes over, tells you how to fix things yourself using industry terms, THEN charging you more than his/her competitors that would have done all of the work for you, for less. This app breaks all forms of app etiquette. You don't change top dollar for an app that's useless unless you subscribe. Tisk tisk.

Downloaded the app and can get the camera to work worse, ICam charged me much more than the $4.99 price Tried to contact ICam but not luck. I should have known not to trust this site

I have been trying to make it work for hours, and trying to find some kind of support, but it is non-existent. No reply in the forums, no replies from ticket support, this is unacceptable. The software does not work. And there is no support. Don't buy.

I keep an eye on my home when away. I like the "motion detected" notifications.

The camera only connects if you are near the source. Move even half a mile away and it will not connect. If it was a free app, this would be understandable. However, this costed money. Not worth the money.

Best app! Easy to set up & use...great for keeping an eye on dogs when I am away from home!!
